Day Zero’s inception celebrated new beginnings with the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012, its origin yielding one of the world’s most transformative and acclaimed parties. Bringing together the natural, mythic and euphoric, we return to the mystical jungles of Tulum every January.

Day Zero harnesses the power of performance and production to create its own storytelling universe, lasers spill through historic canopies, alien creatures from the future align with the ancient Mayans, and partygoers are offered new ways to think about and experience space and time. Each moment from sunset to sunrise is soundtracked by the world’s most forward-thinking live acts and selectors, inimitably curated by Day Zero founder Damian Lazarus.

We are thrilled to share with you an exclusive livestream of Damian Lazarus' unforgettable sunrise set at Day Zero Tulum 2024 — a full sensory odyssey in the Mayan jungle.

These 3 hours could be one of the best sets I’ve played for some time. I release recordings of my sets very rarely, and filmed recordings of my DJ sets even less so. It’s a big decision to produce a film like this because I believe it’s very difficult to capture the true essence of the festival on a screen. But we decided to try our best by inviting Director Zach Toupin and his team, including 6 cameras and a drone, plus 7 directional mics set up around the main stage.

I believe this 3 hour film brings you to the heart of this beautiful, unforgettable morning, capturing the many special moments that unfold before your eyes.
